Spam - Closure and other things

I have noticed that these blogs here have come to a full stop. They have also been spammed. To combat this I have frozen the blog commenting and will close some of the blogs to enable efforts to be focused on those that remain.

I appoloize for the offensive comments - they will be removed soon.
